A native of the Napa Valley and current resident of the Sonoma Valley, Kavanaugh enjoys every aspect of the wine country: the beauty of the vineyards in their seasonal cycles, the sense of camaraderie that stems from a shared interest in viticulture, and, of course, some of the best wines in the world. His passion for his homeland is the driving force behind WinoShirts, the latest in an impressive line of diverse and successful entrepreneurial ventures.  

Kavanaugh is committed to his community, and has served as a board member of the Kenwood Education Foundation, board member and president of the Napa Valley Mustard Festival, and volunteer for the St. Helena farmer’s market. When he takes a break from work and volunteer activities, he’s likely to be found tending his vineyard, listening to the blues, growing organic vegetables, baking artisan breads, and playing bocce ball.  

Kelly Koch, Director of Sales and Marketing

A veteran fundraiser and organizer of community and school events, Kelly is also the mother of four children between the ages of three and 15. In her role as sales and marketing director for WinoShirts, she transfers her well-honed skills in chaos management, quarrel intervention, and gentle persuasion to keep the company running efficiently and productively.

While both Kavanaugh and Kelly are busy in their professional and personal lives, father and daughter still manage to make the time to sit on the porch, enjoy a glass of wine, and dream up slogans for their next batch of WinoShirts.
